Razer Opus, high-level noise-cancelling headphones

Razer is normally renowned for its gaming accessories for computers, but with this product, it definitely changes target. Razer Opus, in fact, are wireless headphones for audiophiles with noise-cancelling technology and acoustic insulation. In other words, it is a solution comparable to Sony's famous WH-1000X M3.

On the one hand, the Razer Opus can be described as headphones capable of reproducing the details and nuances of the streams in high definition. On the other hand, they are able to erase the noises of everyday life, from the background hum of the city to the frenetic chattering of those who work from home with other people around, which can interfere with the listening experience.

Noise cancellation technology works by carefully tuning a wide range of external frequencies. To do this, the Razer Opus uses an Advanced Hybrid Active Noise Canceling (ANC) system to eliminate external noise, with four dedicated ANC microphones.

If external noise filtering is important, the quality of audio reproduction is critical to delivering rich, flawless sound. For this reason, the Razer Opus have undergone hundreds of scientifically-formulated tests to obtain THX certification. To meet the stringent requirements for THX certification, small details such as range and frequency response must be capable of delivering clear voices and deep impact bass, with zero distortion at high volumes.

The Razer Opus are distinguished, then, by low weight and by ear pads and headband in imitation leather and foam. Each battery charge lasts up to 25 hours with the ANC active. Quick Attention Mode, on the other hand, can be activated when the need arises to feel the outside world. Finally, the optional 3.5 mm analogue input guarantees maximum device compatibility.

The Razer Opus is available for € 209.99 at authorized RazerStores and online retailers.
